Jayne H. Huston, Director, Seton Hill University's E-Magnify
As Director of Seton Hill University's E-Magnify women’s business center where she has been employed for 14 years, Jayne H. Huston is responsible for the strategic vision and administrative oversight of E-Magnify including directing all programs and initiatives to promote women and business ownership within the regional and national marketplaces. During Huston’s tenure, Seton Hill University has repeatedly been named as one of the leading Entrepreneurial Colleges in the nation by Entrepreneur magazine.
Under Huston’s direction, E-Magnify’s work is to assist current and future business owners to start and grow their businesses and has been named one of three designated Women’s Business Center’s in Pennsylvania under the United States Small Business Administration, E-Magnify offers a 27-County Western Pennsylvania market - a portfolio of programs and services in the areas of client counseling, education and training; information, mentoring and networking.
Prior to coming to Seton Hill University, Huston had a successful health care marketing communications career in South Central, PA during which time she lead the Hospital Association of Pennsylvania's PR & Marketing Society. She also served as Executive Director of the Somerset County Chamber of Commerce.
Seton Hill University’s E-Magnify’s initiatives have been featured in numerous local, state and national media including CBS Saturday Morning, Teen Court-TV, The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Inc., Entrepreneur, Pink and Seventeen magazines.
Huston earned an MBA from Seton Hill University and a B.A. in Journalism and Communications from Point Park College, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
